22 terrorists killed in Khyber operation

Peshawar (Balochistan News) Security forces and law enforcement agencies killed 22 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Khyber district.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists opened indiscriminate fire during the operation, resulting in the martyrdom of a 10-year-old child. In response, the forces eliminated all the terrorists.

The statement added that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who were involved in multiple activities in the area. A clearance operation is ongoing due to the possible presence of more terrorists.

Security agencies have reaffirmed their commitment to continue operations until terrorism is completely eradicated.

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces for the successful operation and expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of the innocent child. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed grief and prayed for patience for the bereaved family.
