Quetta (Balochistan News) – Balochistan government’s Assistant for Home Affairs Babar Yousafzai has rejected reports circulating on social media regarding an internet shutdown, calling them baseless and unfounded.
In his statement, he clarified that no decision has been taken to suspend internet services in the province, and urged citizens not to believe or spread unverified information and rumours.
He advised the public to rely only on authentic sources for information and to avoid sharing unconfirmed news on social media platforms.
According to Babar Yousafzai, the government is committed to ensuring timely and accurate information for the public, while also taking steps to curb the spread of misinformation.
He appealed to citizens to act responsibly and refrain from spreading unverified content.
