Clashes in South Waziristan After Afghan Provocation, Several Posts Destroyed in Pakistan Army Response

South Waziristan (Balochistan News Desk) Following Afghan provocation in the Zlol Khel area of Angoor Adda, Pakistani forces carried out a strong and effective retaliatory operation, targeting multiple enemy posts.

According to security sources, timely action by the Pakistan Army foiled infiltration attempts by Fitna al-Khawarij and brought the security situation in the area under control.

Sources said that after the failure of infiltration attempts, Afghan Taliban reportedly targeted civilian areas, resulting in firing injuries to three civilians, including two women, who were immediately shifted to Wana Hospital.

Security officials stated that unprovoked firing was carried out by Afghan Taliban in the Zlol Khel and Angoor Adda areas, in response to which the Pakistan Army launched an effective counter-operation and destroyed several Afghan checkpoints.

The situation in the area is being closely monitored, while security forces have further intensified patrols to prevent any possible infiltration.
