Moscow (Monitoring Desk) Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that consultation and coordination with Russia have become particularly important in the current situation.
Speaking to the media in Moscow, he said that there has been some progress in the ongoing Iran–US negotiations, however, due to the American stance and rigid demands, the objectives of the previous round could not be achieved.
According to Abbas Araghchi, excessive demands and behavior by the United States created obstacles in achieving final results despite some progress. He said that in this situation, Pakistan’s role has been important, as it is making mediation efforts between Iran and the United States in negotiations.
The Iranian foreign minister further said that it was necessary to consult with Pakistani friends to thoroughly review the current situation. According to him, consultation with the Russian leadership on the ongoing regional tensions and developments is also important.
It is worth noting that Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow today, where discussions on the regional situation and developments related to conflict are expected.
