Islamabad (Balochistan News Desk) A ceremony was held in Changsha, Hunan Province of China, where three important Memorandums of Understanding were signed between institutions of Pakistan and China, attended by President Asif Ali Zardari.
The first MoU was signed between the Sindh Local Government Department and Chinese company Luxian Environmental Technology Group. Under this agreement, cooperation will be carried out on a project to improve water supply to Karachi through seawater desalination. Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon and a representative of the Chinese company signed the agreement.
The second agreement was signed between the Sindh Local Government Department and Long Pan High-Tech Information Company for cooperation in the field of agricultural technology.
The third MoU relates to the tea industry, signed by Senator Saleem Mandviwalla on behalf of Pakistan and representatives of various Chinese companies.
According to the statement, the purpose of these agreements is to promote cooperation in different industrial sectors, which will further strengthen the development of the tea industry, economic collaboration, and trade and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
