Strong participation of Pakistan Pavilion at SIAL Canada 2026, efforts to promote food exports increase

Montreal (Commerce Desk) The Pakistan Pavilion made a prominent participation at the SIAL Canada 2026 Food Products Exhibition, showcasing the country’s food products on an international level.

The Pakistan Pavilion at this major North American food and beverage exhibition was inaugurated by High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem. On this occasion, Consul General Faisal Abro and Trade & Investment Counsellor Altamash Jangjuah were also present.

Six prominent exhibitors participated in the Pakistan Pavilion, presenting high-quality and diverse Pakistani food products, which attracted considerable interest from the participants.

The High Commissioner and other diplomatic officials guided delegations from the Canadian federal and Quebec governments, as well as private sector representatives, through various stalls of the Pakistan Pavilion.

Pakistan’s strong participation in the three-day exhibition (April 29 to May 1, 2026) is being seen as a serious effort to increase exports of food products to Canada.

The event also proved to be an important platform for Pakistani exporters to establish connections with international buyers and stakeholders in the agri-food industry.
