University of Balochistan and Livestock Department Agreement Paves Way for Improvement in Animal Health

Quetta (Balochistan News) A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University of Balochistan and the Livestock Department to promote mutual cooperation. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Zohur Ahmed Bazai stated that the University of Balochistan has the capacity to produce 100 million vaccines annually, which will help strengthen the animal health system in the province.

Provincial Minister for Livestock Faisal Jamali termed this agreement an important development and said that it will improve the livestock sector, provide direct economic benefits to farmers, while also helping to ensure food security.

During the meeting, detailed briefings were given on various aspects of vaccine production, quality, and distribution, while it was agreed to further enhance research, training, and technical cooperation.

According to officials, through this agreement, the scientific research of the University of Balochistan will be linked to practical implementation for the development of the province, which will not only strengthen the livestock sector but is also expected to increase overall economic activities. Senior officials and experts attended the ceremony, and commemorative shields were also presented at the end.
