Allegations of harassment against superstar Darshan in jail, strict instructions issued by administration

Bengaluru (Showbiz Desk) Allegations have emerged against Karnataka film industry superstar Darshan of harassing and assaulting a fellow inmate in jail.

According to Indian media, the actor has been in jail for the past two years after being arrested in 2024 in connection with a murder case. The victim’s body was recovered from a drain.

Reports state that the Karnataka High Court had earlier granted bail to the actor, but the Indian Supreme Court later overturned the decision.

Now, according to jail sources, Darshan is accused of kicking a co-accused while he is sleeping and behaving inappropriately with him. Distressed by this behavior, both co-accused inmates have reportedly requested authorities to be transferred to a separate prison.

Media reports further state that jail administration has strictly instructed the actor to follow prison rules, which include standing in line to collect food and personally performing his hygiene-related duties.
