Banks, Stock Exchange and government offices to remain closed for three consecutive days on May 1

Lahore (Commerce Desk) This week, the State Bank of Pakistan, commercial banks, the Pakistan Stock Exchange, and government offices will remain closed for three consecutive days across the country.

According to the notification, the State Bank of Pakistan and all its subsidiary offices will remain closed on May 1, while trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange will also be suspended on the same day.

Since May 1 falls on a Friday, bank employees will get a continuous three-day holiday. Due to the regular weekend holidays on Saturday and Sunday, financial institutions will reopen after two days.
