Complete Break in Contact is Necessary After Ending a Relationship, Says Actress Kalki Koechlin

Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) Indian actress Kalki Koechlin has spoken openly for the first time about her divorce from filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.

In an interview, Kalki Koechlin said that therapy or counseling alone is not enough, and when a strong and long-term relationship ends after both parties have caused emotional pain to each other, it is necessary to completely cut off contact for some time.

She said that during difficult times, a person first needs to understand and feel their emotions, while therapy and counseling provide long-term support.

According to the actress, if a relationship has lasted for a long period, then maintaining distance after separation for a reasonable time is better to achieve mental peace.

Kalki Koechlin further said that anger, sadness, and emotional pain should be shared with close friends or family members instead of communicating with the person who caused the hurt.

She also said that when good memories of the past start coming back, it may indicate that a person begins to reconsider the relationship again.
