New Zealand (Sports Desk) The International Cricket Council Women’s T20 World Cup squad of New Zealand Women’s cricket team has been announced, with Amelia Kerr appointed as the captain of the 15-member squad.
According to New Zealand Cricket, Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates are also part of the team. Both senior players will retire from international cricket after this World Cup.
The Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on June 12 in England, featuring teams from around the world.
Before the World Cup, the New Zealand Women’s team will also play a three-match T20 series against England as part of their preparations for the global tournament.
