Positive Trend in Asian Stock Markets, Increase Recorded in Major Indices

Karachi (Business Desk) On the first day of the business week, an overall positive trend was observed in Asian stock markets, where an increase was recorded in most major markets.

Japan’s Nikkei index increased by 1.6 percent, while South Korea’s KOSPI index saw a rise of 2.3 percent.

Similarly, Thailand’s stock market recorded a 1 percent increase. China’s Shanghai index rose by 0.15 percent, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index increased by 0.25 percent.

According to experts, improved confidence among global investors and relative market stability have contributed to the positive trend in Asian markets.
