Preity Zinta’s firm response to “trophy” remark sparks debate on social media

Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has responded to a social media comment calling her a “trophy,” giving a clear and meaningful reply that has gone viral.

On X, a user wrote that Preity Zinta does not win trophies in the IPL because she herself is a trophy. In response to this remark, the actress said that no woman likes being called a trophy because a trophy is someone’s possession, whereas a woman is not.

She added that a trophy belongs in a cabinet, while a woman holds a place in her own life and heart, and that this is her true identity. Preity Zinta further wrote that it was a film-related question and she answered it in a cinematic style.

On the other hand, in the 40th match of the IPL, Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings by 6 wickets after a thrilling contest. It was Punjab Kings’ first defeat in the tournament, while for Rajasthan, Ferreira played an outstanding innings, scoring an unbeaten 52 runs off 26 balls.
