Strong Reaction in Showbiz Circles Over Controversial Remarks by Firdous Jamal, Criticism of Late Artists Termed Condemnable

Lahore (Showbiz Desk): Actress Bushra Ansari has said that generally no artist in the showbiz industry is weak, therefore unnecessary and negative statements should be avoided.

She further said that Firdous Jamal should focus on his own thinking and mental state, as a negative attitude not only affects others but can also have an impact on his own family and children.

This reaction came after Firdous Jamal, in a podcast, made inappropriate and negative remarks about some late Pakistani actors, including Talat Hussain, Shafi Muhammad, Rahat Kazmi, Khayam Sarhadi, and Abid Ali.

In these statements, criticism was made of the acting of the deceased artists and comments were made about their abilities, which have been strongly condemned by showbiz circles and social media users as highly inappropriate.

Strong reactions have also been expressed by showbiz personalities and the public, especially because the artists being criticized are no longer alive.
